Prices on generic medicines highly uncompetitive. (Boots own brand often 5x the price of generics offered by independent pharmacies.) Dispensing section sbut at lunch time and often unusually long waits for prescriptions at other times. Staff usually helpful enough.

I never ever seen any pharmacy having lunch break from 12.30pm to 13.30pm .

When I called to collect my medication this morning, after leaving my presciption yesterday because one of the items was not in stock, I was surprised to find the branch shut because there was not a pharmacist on site. Yet there was someone inside who could have helped. My wife called the branch and was told that a pharmacist from an agency was on the way but no time could be given when he/she would get there. Very disappointing service from Boots!
