Lots of shiny foodstuffs. Some that you need some that you don't, but you will probably buy them anyway.....

A lot of unusual bits and bobs which is nice to see. Excellent cheese counter and knowledgeable lady on there.
 Very pricey for the basics and staff seem to be pleasant but very unhurried which is irritating when you're in a rush. 
Quite a few fresh items spotted right on even a day over their sell by....this is not a one off occurance either. Twice bought chicken that had to be returned. In date but smelled wrong. Good about returns but not the whole point really. 
 Dates on bread not good either. 
Loyalty scheme is a joke unless you drink like a fish or crave a hot drink from a machine that only works half the time. 
Wouldn't be surprised if they go under and are taken over in the next few years.
Not much competition in Settle but wouldn't cope if there was. Hope the Aldi/ Lidl rumours are true and Settle gets one soon .
