Nice store with nice food.... but they consistently NEVER have enough people on the tills and service is so slow, especially at lunchtimes. They need to understand that not all their customers are retired / at home people who have all day to pootle around a shop. There are people that work and need to be in and out at lunch times - maybe have more staff on till during these times? Or do like the Danish do, a till for people with plenty of time on their hands / pensioners who want to chat / house people, and a till for people who are busy. The till situation drives me insane, as I know it does many others. They don't seem to notice the frustration of people in the queues, daily!
A wonderful shop. The quality of the food and drink cannot be beaten and the helpfulness and welcome you get from the staff is just perfect. I always make a point of going to the nearest Booths whenever I'm in this part of the country.
Lovely old fashioned supermarket. It's more like a Waitrose than a Aldi. This means the prices are high but the service is amazing and the products are top quality.
Great shop on the upmarket side. Excellent meals in the frozen section. Lovely staff. Smaller than the one at Kendal or Ulverston so less choice but still a great place.
Unable to access products due to cages blocking access, very low stock levels on some areas, always have to wait at check out, not always a pleasant experience
