Absolutely fabulous. Old fashioned courtesy and values. A lovely welcoming lady on the door-collecting and issuing baskets- all with a friendly demeanour and light chat! Just so rare these days! Warms my heart to see these wonderful attributes in a world moving very far away from such activity. I wish I'd taken the ladies name but she was on duty at midday on 8th April 2024. Many, many thanks!
A great selection of high quality food. Lots of helpful, friendly staff. We arrived just before 11 on a Sunday morning and were some of the first people there. Lots of space and time to consider our purchases. Easy to park close to the entrance.
The same as all Booths supermarkets: a lovely shop with an extensive range of groceries, BUT oh so very expensive! Even the 'reduced to clear' chiller cabinet is full of items that were once unbelievably expensive, and have been slightly reduced to 'still very expensive'. They must have a lot of wastage as the produce approaching its use-by date is never priced to get it sold.nIt's my local supermarket, but I avoid it if possible.
Lovely old fashioned supermarket. It's more like a Waitrose than a Aldi. This means the prices are high but the service is amazing and the products are top quality.
Lovely store, great choice of non-generic/small producer products and amazing staff!
