It's a lovely park. The space, the trees and the surrounding views make this park beautiful unique. While we were in Edinburgh, we walked through it everyday because our place was across it from the main city centre. Lots of benches to just relax there.
Such a lovely park right next to the University of Edinburgh. We grabbed the famous hot chocolate and enjoyed a sunny autumn walk. There’s a cool university vibe around too, with students walking by. A wonderful spot, highly recommended
This is a great park for spending a day with your friends or family. You can either have a picnic or play various sports. They do have a tennis court bookable, and a toilet nearby. I would probably avoid going there on a hot summer day as it get super busy. Theres bruntsfield park on the other side of the road with a golf course, and less people.
The Meadows in Edinburgh is pure magic during cherry blossom season. A pink canopy stretches across the park, and walking through it feels like stepping into a dream. It’s peaceful, full of locals just enjoying the moment—no rush, no noise, just beauty. One of my favourite spots in the city, especially in spring.
Nice open space- lots of students hanging out enjoying the sun, playing guitars or sports. Some wrought iron benches along the paths. Loads of daffodils in early April and cherry blossoms come out around mid-April.
