One of the best places in Edinburgh! It’s a beautiful, spacious park with a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for walking, relaxing, studying, or having a picnic with friends. The tree lined paths are especially lovely, and the park feels beautiful in every season. It’s also a great spot for students and locals alike, with plenty of open space and amazing views around the city. Whether you want a quiet walk or a sunny afternoon outdoors, The Meadows is always worth visiting.

The Meadows has got to be one of my favourite places in the world. It has cool public art, in the Processions memorial, amazing natural scenery in the cherry blossom series, the sausage roll van is a culinary delight, and it has an amazing history that I like outlining on a walking tour

Great park. Lots of nice dogs around so it's perfect to walk my dog when I park in Chalmers st. Great view of Arthur's seat. 99% of the time clean, but people are people.

What an absolute gem in Edinburgh. A stunning and huge expanse of grass lined with trees and on the day I visited very popular with adults and young children.  If you want to practice your tennis game there are several courts here too which were popular as well.nThere are toilet facilities also.  The ones in the centre of the park look very modern and were clean and well maintained.  The facilities on the east side of the park adjacent to the children's large play area are functional but in desperate need of modernization with the interior looking very worn and steel plating on the cubicle doors.nIn the summer I'll bet this place is even busier and rightly so as I would certainly come here, ideal for a picnic or if you just want a break from seeing Edinburgh architecture.nPlus it has a nice view of Arthur's Seat as well.

Amazing park, great vibe, stunning views. It was even more amazing in Cherry Blossom season.
