Central Edinburgh has plenty of parks and other green spaces and The Meadows is one of the best. With a playground, tennis courts and even cricket pitches there's plenty to do if you're sporty, but if you're not you can walk or just sit and relax while enjoying the beautiful scenery. It's popular with students and locals alike and can get busy in the summer and during the festival.

I like going here especially on sunny days. It's really massive with a tennis court and a very big field to accommodate almost everyone. The toilets are okay. There's also a wee shop by the corner for cold drinks and the ice cream truck hardly ever disappoints. Would recommend.

Absolutely perfect for adults, children and pets! Picnics and games in the summer, meditation, yoga, exercise, strolls, BBQs.... Such a brilliant space for a multitude of activities! Lovely all seasons, especially autumn when all the leaves start turning. Lots of coffee shops around and there is a coffee shop and play ground at one end.

Great! Beautiful day nice and warm, Is lovely to have such a warm weather pulled out lots of people actually it was crowned! It's lovely to be around people such a good feeling of belonging to a community. ❤❤❤❤❤❤ ONE LOVE & ONE PEOPLE!! THANKU

Always well maintained; beautiful blossom in the Spring; lots of activities throughout the Summer. The large kids playpark is great, but the other two smaller playparks could do with updating. The tennis courts are great.
