Just stayed on this site for five days before Christmas. The Almond lodge is one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. Exceptionally clean, fabulous bathrooms and kitchen and there was even a Christmas tree up for our arrival!nnThe site is located close to Kirknewton station, so easy access for trains to both Edinburgh and Glasgow. There is a small shop on site, and we especially enjoyed seeing the chickens running around!nnNext time we are visiting Edinburgh we will be staying here again, it was fab!

Hats off to the cleaner!! The whole site was spotless, the lady who checked me in was very polite. The pitch was very level, well drained and mud free. The toilets and showers were immaculate! Would definitely stay again

Amazing facilities very new and clean! Also check in at reception was very easy and the person there very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place. Electricity and water supply right where you park for the night. Grey water disposal on the way out by the communal kitchen which is also kept in a great condition and overall highly recommend this place!

The Owner was friendly and the Lady who was looking after the caravan park whilst I stayed was very friendly and helpful. It’s terrible but after two and a bit months I’ve forgotten her name. The shower and toilet block were very new looking and clean. The kitchen was well set-up and modern also. The wifi was great in the kitchen.

Lovely welcome from the lovely staff on arrival.  The place and pitches are just perfect.  Facilities spotless.  The location perfect not too far from Edinburgh driving or by the near train station.  We wished we could have stay longer.  I just managed only one beautiful walk out of the site to the little canal in the middle of the night with my dog!  It was amazing Blame the Edinburgh Fringe.  Peaceful and quiet and very clean site.  Thank you all!
