Been a few times. Ancient Cafe been going years and its still a quality traditional Cafe. Classic Full English breakfast with Doorstep-style bread amongst so many other dishes on the very large menu. Situated on a main route into the city from the M1 Mill Cafe is well worth a visit. Good value for money too.

Plenty of food on your plate and at reasonable prices. The Saus meat is excellent on full English breakfast

Been eating here since the late 1950s. I do miss the original sausage meat sandwich. The original sausage meat sandwich was out of this world. The old sandwich was spread liberally on hand sliced, thick white bread and filled you for the rest of the day. Since having two different owners, they have scimped on the original recipe by adding more water to the mix! i.e. more water and more profit. So sad, I no longer have the saus. sandwich. The old mill cafe is no longer ye old mill cafe anymore it's now cashing in on previous owners hard work. Pitty, that's the sign of the times and greed.
