Took elderly parents to Homemade for lunch earlier in the year, arrived at 1.55 and after I had got them sat down was told the kitchen closed at 2.No notice up and nothing on the web site to indicate this. Went today for lunch with family and thought I would be OK as it was 1.30 but told kitchen had just closed again no sign up and nothing on the web site. I should have stayed in town and gone to the lovely cafe at the Arboretum who served me a delicious gluten free meal at 2pm a week earlier and was better value.

Five stars just for the cakes, but loads of nice mains here too. And dog friendly

Local handmade. Had the mega breakfast which was just that. Pretty tasty. If I was to nitpick I would say they only give you one butter for your toast. Having said that I didn't ask for a second one so this may well be instantly solvable

Food is always good, only problems is a hey seem to run out of all ingredients, especially for pancakes
