Pleasant decor and nice menu which was well cooked and nicely presented. Prices were reasonable Not given 5* as service was a bit casual - slow walking, not particularly friendly and sometimes a bit numb - ask for water at the table of 2 people and they bring one portion. A bit slack
Had a great dining experience at Copper for Christmas meals booking must be made for Christmas crackers with tiny little gifts in. All of us have 3 course meal and the meals certainly met our expectation. My selections: Starters Prawn Cocktails - Nice aroma of the cocktails perfectly blended into the prawns Mains Christmas Dinner - Standard choice for a Christmas meal Other mains included: Roasted Cod Loin Desserts Christmas Pudding - Interesting taste of using both ginger and cinnamon as the main flavours - a very ambitious attempt Other desserts included: Chocolate Fondant The service was lovely and we enjoyed the vibe of the atmosphere, too.
Came here for work Xmas do. Booking was at 5 pm but didn't get sat down until about 5.45 due to the party before us were an hour late so we just had to awkwardly stand in the doorway. But they did give us complimentary prosecco to help numb the pain and the cold. The food was lovely expect the sprouts were raw. The chocolate fondant was to die for. Vegetarian options: Quite a few vegan options
Brilliant cafe in the centre of Nottingham and near other amenities. Good customer service and food. Was greeted at the door and me and my friend chose to sit near the back of the cafe where it was quiet. My friend went for a full vegan breakfast and was delighted with her choice whereas I went for the American pancakes. Both were equally delicious and wasn’t too expensive. The iced coffee was brilliant even though it’s not on the menu, it could be asked for. All in all, a brilliant cafe and you get what you pay for.
Breakfast was lovely, but the service was the let down. Waited ages for the bill, we had to ask for it and the lady just put it on our table and walked away. So then we hand the money over to another passing member of staff, waited for a couple mins for the change and ended up just leaving as we had already waited around 30 mins after eating for anyone to acknowledge us. Definitely recommend for a nice breakfast, hopefully we just came in on a bad day
Came here for breakfast, was so nice and a fair price! Had the brunch burger which is in the picture and my sister had the traditional breakfast! Must admit the traditional breakfast looked so good and was a bit jealous. All in all was a great meal and really cool place to be in, will be coming back soon!
Went for Sunday lunch yesterday, first ever time of visiting here. This place was recommended to me by another establishment that couldn’t accommodate my booking. However I was underwhelmed by the food which although was plentiful, was a little bland. We had the roast dinner three course menu. Good value at £18 per head but potatoes were not crispy and fluffy inside and calamari was a tad greasy. However nice atmosphere and pleasant staff. Good for students on a budget.
Nice bar in town. Like cocktails, wish we were there when it's two for one though. Service friendly.
Called in by chance, my wife and I looking for somewhere to eat early doors before going to a concert. We weren't the only ones, it was quite busy, nice welcome, friendly staff good choice of drinks and food. Well pleased with our meals, well cooked, reasonably priced I had a steak and ale pie with mash and green veg with some serious gravy, my wife had hunters chicken, so will definitely be back!
Tasty food with good portions and brilliant prices. Even though they were temporarily short staffed today the service did not suffer. The staff were polite and very accommodating. Lots of little touches that made this place feel wonderful. We will return again on our next trip to Nottingham.
