Great selection of games at a good price per head. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful with game recommendations. The food sold is entirely vegan, though you wouldn't be able to tell.

Been to many board game Cafe's in Nottingham and this is by far up there with my favourites. It may not be as nice and sleek as some others but the staff are amazing! The price can not be beaten and there is plenty of space! My only issue is the bathrooms they weren't the cleanest, but I will be returning here.

Brilliant place to visit if you enjoy board games. Staff were super friendly, food was good, coffee was top-notch (maybe a little pricey, but I'll let it slide on account of the overall experience) and to top it off: just £1 per seat when bringing your own games, for the whole day. Definitely coming back soon!

Whereas Luderati is more of a cafe experience, The Dice Cup feels more like a games shop than its competitor. It also has food and drink options for its customers, but there's definitely more of a community feel to the place, with tournaments for card gamers and board gamers, with lots of tables around the shop for folks to play games. If you're a card gamer come here, but if you're a board gamer you should really go to both. Make a day of it.

The Dice Cup is a good venue for playing board games and hosting clubs. There are a lot of board games for selection. While the price for entry is cheap, the additional prices for drinks and food can be high, especially for their average quality. There are several tables, but they can be full and noisy at busy times. The glass walls can also make the place chilly in winter. EDIT: They do provide heaters, but on cold, wintry days make sure you come so that you can stay warm.
