Daughter booked table for my birthday dinner after been on a canal boat. Food was amazing and very tasty.. Staff were very nice and good and made us feel welcome and kids basket meal were amazing value for money...!!! I had tbone steak wow it was very nice and well presented.
The food is excellent and as far as I can tell both the main and the deserts are home made. Lovely greeting and friendly service. Oh yes! The beer is kept perfectly and doesn't get served once it even begins to go slightly cloudy. Looking forward to having a meal here again soon.
Popped in for a quick pint having moored outside. Well kept beers, nice ambience. Good social distancing measures in place.
They have adapted well to the Covid way of doing things. They have cut back their menu, but they do it all really well. Their pies are to die for and their prices are very reasonable.
We stopped here on our canal holiday and had the most beautiful Sunday roast. Staff were friendly but they lost stars because food was served on paper food trays that went soggy and holed through to the table! I understand its because of the pandemic but better trays needed.
Great pub right next to the canal, very welcoming, great well presented very tasty pub food which is good value for money, can't wait to go back there for a meal.
