Called in for lunch, ordering the fish and chips. Fish was a good size with a light crispy batter. Very varied menu and reasonably priced. Pub is being refurbished soon which is needed. Staff helpful and welcoming. Our waitress, Teresa, although busy came and checked if everything was alright with the meal. Will visit again soon.
The pub was busy tonight but staff coped well and remained friendly and professional. Our meals arrived promptly and were delicious. The only downside was a table of loud and very rude customers who were speaking to staff like s..t! Manners cost nothing!
Food really lovely ,portion size great . Great value for money. My husband is coeliac, staff were really good helpful at finding gluten free menu for him. All round really enjoyable meal.. Thankyou :-

I went there for food and drink today food was perfect atmosphere was great and staff did everything to make my experience there wanting to go back will definitely be going back thank you tommy Lee ward for perfect service
I can confirm that we had a dreadful experience tonight, mine and my son's had been standing whilst we waited for the steak,...our meals came out separately and my chips were cold and I dread to see where they had been before they went in the bowl...I had my chips replaced but by the time they came back I had eaten majority of my meal and the chef brought out 3 portions ...what the heck was he thinking??...you have alot of work to do as this is the 4th time in the last month or so I have had my meal took back due to something being cold/standing or dragged round the kitchen before it's slapped on the skillet!!!! This is how much I had eaten of my meal before fresh chips were brought back..in quantity..I can confirm I only ate 1 bowl as who would want 3!!!!!!!!
Food cooked to perfection saff very pleasant and helpful even done me a full English breakfast on a Sunday afternoon Food: 5/5
The food we ordered was terrible. Steak was inedible, chips were over cooked, in fact the whole meal for the four of us was in fact the worst experience ever. However the Staff were pleasant and polite.
Such a great pub great food the atmosphere is perfect and the staff are so nice and helpful
