It is on the edge of the Peak District National Park with numerous activities within easy reach so is ideally positioned for Duke of Edinburgh and Scouting expeditions.Boarfold Scout Campsite is part of Tameside South Scout District.The address for Boarfold is Far Woodseats Lane, Chisworth, Charlesworth, Derbyshire. SK13 5RS. Grid Ref. 987 926. It is off the A626 Glossop Road between Charlesworth and Marple. If travelling from Charlesworth towards Marple, Far Woodseats Lane is on the right, opposite Sandy Lane."

Great back to basics camp. Toilets are clean and tidy, pitches are secluded and brilliant. Open fires in fire pits. Walk down to broadbottom beach is nice and you can swim there.

Friendly staff with basic facilities as you would expect from a scout campsite! Could do with facilities there toilets being fixed though rather than just leaving a sign up .
Excellent value, as long as you're Scout Association member.
Wonderful site, reasonably isolated, I'd say a proper scout campsite. Loads of local exploring, woodland and walking further afield. Small river next to the camp and a big field. No fuss - toilets, water, bunk house and kitchen if you want it.
A very scenic scout camp close to the River Etherow in a wood.
Beautiful campsite nestled in three quiet countryside. Would recommend a visit if you're in the area.
Great for patrol camps and survival style camps. Friendly team of wardens. Very reasonably priced.
Back to basics scout camp. Very helpful and lovely site
On a slope which has it challenges. But the team will look after you.
