Spent the day at the hospital yesterday for nerve block injections. From start to finish I was very pleased with the experience. Receptionists and porter were friendly, room was clean and comfortable and I had a really lovely nurse looking after me whose name was Carol. Anaesthetist was very nice and reassuring, he explained to me thoroughly what would happen and my consultant Mr Pickard was very professional. I would recommend this hospital.
I had my surgery at Princess Margaret Hospital and I genuinely cannot praise the experience enough. From start to finish, everything was amazing. I felt completely heard, cared for, and safe at every stage of my journey.nnThe staff were absolutely brilliant — professional, kind, and reassuring. A very special thank you to Nurse Akhila, who was truly incredible. She made me feel so comfortable and at ease, explained everything clearly, and showed such genuine care and compassion. Her calm and friendly nature made a huge difference to my experience, and I am so grateful for her support.nnI would also like to give a shout-out to Kim, the nurse who took me to surgery. She was so kind and reassuring, helping to keep me calm and supported during what could have been a very nerve-wracking moment.nnFinally, a massive thank you to Mr Jeetesh Bhardwa, who performed my procedure. I felt completely confident in his care, and I am incredibly thankful for his expertise and professionalism.nnOverall, my experience at Princess Margaret Hospital was outstanding, and I am so grateful to the entire team for taking such wonderful care of me.
I was looked after from the moment I stepped into the hospital to the moment I left. It would be unfair to single any particular person out as everyone I had any sort of contact with was amazing. I had to drive myself in and my partner collected the car the following day, the person who collected me from reception and took me to the ward, who’s name I can’t remember, assured me that he would make sure the car was registered on the system the following day and made a special trip to my room to tell me that it had been done. The Nurse who checked me in was amazing, I was extremely nervous having never had surgery before and she was very reassuring. All of the medical staff on both day and night shift were amazing and went out of their way to make sure I was ok. Mr McGarvey and his theatre team were amazing, everyone on the team introduced themselves and explained everything that was going on and were very reassuring. They left me in no doubt that I was in very professional safe hands. Everyone from the caterers, the porters, the cleaners the medical team, the imaging staff and the physios were professional, caring, thorough and looked after me very well. To be honest I could not have asked for better. I hope I haven’t missed anyone out as everyone was amazing.
Amar Dhani is an amazing human being and I recommend Amar Dhani for anyone seeking top-tier physiotherapy. His guidance throughout my treatment has been expert, patient, and incredibly effective. He doesn’t just treat the symptoms; he provides the support and knowledge needed for long-term recovery.He is extremely supportive and provide guidance with care and knowledge.nnI also want to give a special shout-out to Pam at the front desk. Her sweet smile and supportive attitude make every visit a pleasant experience from the moment you walk in. A truly professional and caring team!
This is absolutely the worse experience we have ever had at a Private or NHS hospital.nWe have lost count of the number of times we have tried to reach Mr David Crawford’s secretary and we have subsequently found out that the information she gave us about what he could for us was wrong. She knows how to book appointments, but not what services Mr Crawford can provide.nThe Princess Margaret Hospital appears to be run as a production line with the exception of one human being. Not a caring welcoming place.nThe 10 minute appointment with Mr Crawford was an absolute waste of time.nHe did not seem to care and wanted shot of us.nLater an NHS consultant said that what Mr Crawford had proposed was not good.nWe had no trust in his ability to provide dermatology services and so cancelled him.nThis resulted in an immediate curt email demanding £200 for his 10 minutes appointment.nWe can not recommend this company or hospital at any cost; it is no way to treat ill people.nWe feel we have been scammed by a money making business which can not provide the services they advertise, let alone treat people with honesty and care.
