Well organised and lovely staff

I was there in 2011 and I was badly treated by the staff because I was transgender and my posh accent was often mimicked

May have improved now but felt it to be a dehuminizeing place in 09_11 not a nice place to be still effects me now

I felt like the nursing care was inadequate most of the time that I was there. I felt like I was being pressurized to go on home leave when I didn't feel well enough. The CCTV use made me feel very uneasy, although I can understand why it was in place. The place does keep people safe though, and I can't thank Huntercombe enough for that.
