Made feel at ease, respected and in good hands from checking in at reception. Room was lovely - clean and tidy and peaceful. No concerns or recommendations to make. Staff very professional with treatment - courteous and friendly making it a very pleasant experience. Was very much appreciated - thank you to all the staff.
I had an excellent experience because everything was handled with professionalism and care. The staff were attentive and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. The communication was clear, and I felt well-informed about every step of my treatment. The environment was clean, and the team ensured that my needs were met promptly. Honestly, I can't think of anything you could have done better. It was a seamless and reassuring experience from start to finish.
The treatment I received at every step was excellent. Nursing staff, nursing assistants & catering staff on ward were polite, respectful & very attentive. My consultant, anaesthetist & recovery staff were wonderful & kept me well informed & I felt reassured by them. Porter who collected me for theatre was chatty & eased my nerves. Pharmacy staff & physio on day of discharge were very helpful & provided me with required information. First class care & spotless clean hospital, would recommend without hesitation.
Great hospital. The staff are outstanding. Mr Dearing my surgeon, his secretary and team made me feel at ease about my procedure. Communication was very good and efficient. The staff in the Clyde ward would constantly check on me and ensure I was comfortable and if I was worried reassure me. The anesthesiologist was so caring and kind. I was very anxious, but there was nothing to worry about. The food was amazing. At times I thought I was at a hotel! The psyio department need so much praise. I was very anxious about moving my knee after surgery and they had the patents and experience to help me. Definitely would not get this level of expertise and experience else where. Highly recommend.
I can’t recommend Ross Hall highly enough! From the moment arrived, everyone I came into contact with; from the reception team to the nurses, the porters, the catering team, my doctor & anaesthetist - were brilliant. Everyone was very friendly & helped put me at complete ease. At no point did I feel rushed or dismissed - there was real precision in their care and that’s something I really value a lot. The staff were incredibly attentive & checked in on me regularly to make sure that I was ok. The health care team were able to answer any questions I had about my surgery & helped me to leave confident in my treatment and recovery plan going forward. I felt truly heard & valued. My room was spotless & comfortable & made for a nice relaxing environment to recover after my surgery. The standard of care is fantastic and I would have no qualms about returning in the future should I need to. A truly wonderful place, making a difficult time much better.
Not that you ever want to stay in hospital, but Ross Hall, was excellent, from the staff who cleaned your room, to the consultant, everyone was very helpful, very pleasant and nothing was too much bother, your needs, from my experience, came first, it never felt like there was any stupid questions you could asked regarding your procedure. It was for me an excellent place to be in hospital.
For someone that was "super nervous" about the whole thing, all I can say is "Thank you!" you made my experience so smooth and straightforward. From the ladies that cleaned my room to the surgeon that performed my Knee replacement surgery , you were so caring and understanding.
Really good visit. Very prompt. Job done and out in no time. Was very impressed, and everyone was really nice, nurses, doctor, everyone. Would recommend the endoscopy unit - very efficient.
Would not recommend. Many think private means better. In our experience this was definitely not the case. A Staph. Infection contracted during surgery here led to the surgery being performed again 12 months later and after paying for additional treatement that should have come under aftercare and a reassurance that all would then be fine at The Golden Jubilee. The treatment and care at The Golden Jubilee was far superior in all respects to that of Ross Hall. Be very careful about what is covered in follow up care. Remember they are making money out of you. They will attempt to charge for additional procedures that they claim are not included in aftercare. Fine if everything goes well, a nightmare when it doesn't, then you will see how fortunate we are to have the NHS.
Written on behalf of my husband David Swift. Mr McCourtney and his team were excellent. Everything was explained in a manner that was easy to understand. He even phoned my wife after the surgery to let her know how the operation had gone. The whole process was so quick and efficient. I wish I had contacted them sooner instead of waiting for treatment on the NHS for nearly 2 years and still having no idea where I was on the list. Would definitely recommend if you have the finances to cover the cost.
