We went on a weekday, it was a good day out.nWe booked the tickets in advance and online so we were not waiting for it on the counter in fact that day was not as busy as we expected maybe because it was not half term.nnOverall my kids enjoyed a lot, learnt a lot and saw some amazing fishes. Sharks were really great.nn2 to 3 hrs is what you need.nNice cafe inside the aquarium.nPlenty of parking.
My 3 year old loves Aquariums having visited many. Blue Planet is a great venue with quite a large array of animals. It is slightly pricey if you attend on a whim however if you have access to coupons or discount that is when it really comes into its own.
Blue Planet Aquarium is a nice place to explore marine life. The exhibits are well-maintained, and the variety of sea creatures is impressive. The underwater tunnel is a highlight! A fantastic day out for families!
Would suggest but only once.nnTook 3 children and adults. Prices is a bit high given time you spend there. And I think parking is a bit of a scam. Pay to park your car but don't take reg and don't have anything to put in your car.nnBe careful on the website like us we paid for 4 car parking spaces for 4 people and we were all in one car. They said no refunds possible but you can have free parking next time you come if within 6 months.nnFood is low standard and high priced. Very little variety.nnWe we.t on a Sunday and the under water walk way was not operating which prevented with a few of our limited mobility party members having to navigate the tunnels.
A lovely little day out for the family. A few things need to change though.nnMy 3 year old's ticket was £20. That seems abit steep when the adult ticket is £30. I don't think the kids ticket should be judged on height. Especially as my kid was about 1cm above the line and you'll probably only be there for 2 hours max.nnAlso, the food prices are high for what they are.nnOther than that, it's great. The shows are educational. It's great to see the stink ray feed. Would have loved to see the Octopus feed, but it was cancelled.nnMy little one did have a good time though.
