Great potential. Unfortunately the council responsible only maintains the minimum for this park. It holds a skatepark that has been neglected for almost 2 year. I have personally reported issues to which I have been told it would be looked into. Almost a year later and no effort has been made to repair the damages. This is the same for the children's play area within the park. Totally neglected and basically derelict. As stated. Great potential but highly neglected in the parks. Grass cut and bins emptied but not the best place for the children.
Plenty of space to run and walk your dog but if you have kids that love a park this is not the place to take them. The park is absolutely shocking, people are paying council tax for this derelict very dangerous park for little children. There isn't anything left, there was a fire on the roundabout play that my 3 children could of burnt themselves on. Swings removed for social distancing, but, go to the park round the corner in a private housing area and the park has never had these restrictions in place. Avoid avoid avoid! Council want sacked for the lack of care to this place.
Great place for jogging, walking and take your dog. There is plenty of space and the park is 98% flat. There isn't a path all the way around it so get your boots on. It has a great hill for sledging during winter.
Very good place for jogging and for doing exercises. Can play football too.
A green space - albeit made up of nothing but grass and a few paths. Soon to be destroyed by Newcastle City Council, when it turns it into a capitalist money making hub by destroying the kids play area and the skateboarding area. Apparently in partnership with NUFC!
There's no park left. Tennis courts n basketball can't use. Field is a nice walk for dogs n for a game of football great for pokomon hunting
Enjoyed walking dog there. I took my granddaughters to the park very shocked nothing there just one swing and alot of glass. so went to killingworth lakeside park instead much better.
Needs more parking areas for when football matches are on. They always use the sloping pitches nearer Ponteland Road dual carriageway, not good for people with poor mobility or disabled like myself.
A Lovley green space where we planted trees for the jubilee
not very safe park, i do my night jogging and seen couple of guys trying to break into people home and cars and if you not careful who knows what could happen
