What a lovely little northern oasis in post industrial Blackrod. You drive through all these little red brick terraced houses lined up diligently side by side on street after street. Then, turn down this road and poof! There it is. A slice of Old England the Lanky Way.nNikki Wordsmith

The best cricket club in the North West very friendly
2nd year visit. Whent here for grandsons football teams presentation. Small club house in a pleasant location was a hot evening mist people over spilled to outside area round the pitch. Service at the bar was better. Last year very slow due to large numbers in attendance along with regulars.
Best local Cricket Club in the Area, function room can be booked for all occasions. Good choice of beers etc and in summer lovely patio to sit on and enjoy the cricket with a beer or three.
