We came to Baby Rhyme Time last Monday with my friend and her little girl. My friend is disabled and this was our first outing with her little girl. As this is a free group I was unsure whether to leave a review, however I wouldn't want any new mum to feel the way we did. We arrived a little late as it was our first time we got a bit lost. Suzanne , the lady running the group, did not greet us or acknowledge we had arrived. It was only a small group of four of us so we just got on with singing to the baby and trying to get involved. Suzanne did not speak to us once or the baby. It was very awkward, we tried to join in and when the singing was finished ,and it was time for free play , Suzanne spoke to the other members of the group and would not speak to us. It was awful we felt so awkward to the point we had to leave. As we got up Suzanne did not speak or look at us she was sat next to us. We specifically came to a church run group as we thought it would be warm, friendly and welcoming. This group was anything but, I felt very upset after leaving and it's put me off going to any baby groups. We are really upset that we have been treated like this. I can appreciate this was the first group and maybe Suzanne was nervous or a bit shy, however we were the only people she didn't speak to, or look at, and my friends baby was the only baby that was ignored. is this due to my friend being disabled ? as we cannot understand why it was just us being ignored.nnThe ladies who are involved with the church were so nice and it's a shame they were not running the group, they were very friendly . It is such a shame that members of the church as so judgemental and rude ofpeople with disabilities, especially being vulnerable having a new baby . I would not go back and I will avoid the church due to this.
Lovely friendly people. So welcoming and unjudgemental.
Easter Sale, I try and go every year, there's a raffle, plants, books jigsaws and lots of other little stalls, you can even get tea coffee and snacks lovely
Would not recommend Baby Rhyme time
