Sadly I am having to update my review of 5 months ago which was a solid 5 stars. I have been visiting this restaurant for many years, it was our favourite. Tonight we arrived after having booked a week ago for my mum's birthday to be plonked on the closest table for two that was clean. We asked for a few minutes to decide on drinks and were left for fifteen minutes. Starters were ok. For main we both had 'seafood' risotto, mine had 5 mussels in. At no point were we asked if food was ok. Terrible service. Tables left unmade for 45 minutes plus. Staff used to be super welcoming. Very disappointed as loyal customers and sadly will not be returning again.

Poor and absent-minded service. We were asked a few times about drinks and water by different people and waited for 10 minutes. Garlic bread was awful, as if from frozen dough. Veal and ribeye steak were poor quality and sauces were way too salty. Veg sides warmed up from freezer. I cant believe how this place can be rated highly. We ade never going there again.
