Almost 3 weeks ago, my mum passed away after a battle with an incredibly aggressive cancer and the staff at Blackpool Victoria hospital, throughout the whole process, were courteous, kind, understanding and helped me to keep a level head through it all.nnI can't commend them enough for their efforts. If it weren't for them and their ability to communicate so well with patients, I don't think I would be coping as well as I am today, as I find myself on the road to acceptance.nnThanks for all you did, the many years of study and hard work, to get where you are, is clear to see.
I came in for a surveillance follow up to the gastro clinic 14/02 at 13.30 for a procedure, the nurse that looked after me was wonderful. A true credit to her profession. I'm sure her name was jindy. She really helped me to relax and explained everything thoroughly. She was wonderful. Also Gary Ingham who performed the procedure, with support from nurses Chelsea dodge and Andy Dziegiel ..such a wonderful team who were extremely caring , you made my visit a very pleasant one. Thank you so much ! Nothing but praise for you all. This hospital saved my life 3 years ago. I'm forever grateful to you all.
A&e staff were amazing when I was being sick pure blood especially a nurse called Karen Scantlebury, she kept my son informed of my sats whilst he drove from Hereford to be by my side. The staff was all amazing to me and I was diagnosed with perforated ulcers on my bowel and several hernias, I thought I was dying losing so much blood but they was amazing keeping me informed and treated me with kindness and respect so going in on Monday for a right knee replacement my mind was at total ease. Thank you everyone who cared for me that day especially Karen scantlebury. You are an amazing nurse who cares above and beyond. Thankyou so much x
My son had his broken bone re-aligned today, at the fracture clinic. I'll admit that I was secretly more nervous than my kid about it, but Adele absolutely put my mind at ease without letting on to my son that I was worried . Dr S. Khan did a brilliant job of re-aligning the bone, and they had Rook smiling and laughing, despite the situation. I didn't get the name of the person in the plaster room, or Xray room, but they were all so kind with my son, and put us all at ease.nnCan't thank them enough. They are a credit to the hospital.
After being put on a 2 week cancer referral I had 1 appointment which my abdomen was felt & the Dr stated she couldn't feel anything would see me in 2 months, I had a large mass confirmed by MRI prior to this appointment WHICH MY GP ORDERED NOT THEM. THEY DID NO TESTS OR INVESTIGATION INTO THE LARGE MASS.nI was then sent a letter stating after a lengthy discussion marina coil to be fitted for excessive bleeding control.n1/ I do not have excessive bleedingn2/ no conversation about any treatment had taken placen3/ also stated a fibroid or if not then ovarian cyst - the mass is nowhere near my ovaries and 3 scans show my ovaries are perfectly healthynnSTAY AWAY FROM THIS HOSPITAL FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO ACCURATELY DIAGNOSE PATIENTS AND FABRICATE LETTERS DETAILING DISCUSSIONS WITH TREATMENT PLAN THAT YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT. SHOCKING PRACTICE FROM MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS.nnI NOW HAVE HAD TO GET MYSELF RE-REFERRED TO A DIFFERENT HOSPITAL AND GO TO THE BOTTOM OF THE WAITING LIST BECAUSE OF THEIR LIES AND INCOMPETENCE.
