Went in for a kids bike seat to attach to my bike. I knew which one I wanted which was in stock. Only one left and the box was open. I didn't want to get it home and find something was missing so I found a member and staff. I asked if everything was there they admitted they didn't know so they went through the whole box with me and all the instructions step by step just to make sure it was all there. It was really helpful. The man was really friendly and helpful. As a result i got the seat home and already knew how to put it all together and on the bike so it was really quick and easy.
For fishing gear, everything you can possibly hope for. Prices can be good if you search properly, otherwise a little expensive. All other camping stuff is there to view. Impressive display. Staff are very helpful.
Very helpful pleasant staff always so happy to help, and we take our Shihtzu Teddy in with us too and he loves meeting everybody and is a very good boy, Everything you need, good discounts with members card. Great parking, not cramped.
Great outdoors store! They have like everything and so convenient. They also have good discounts with the membership cards which costs only £5
Enjoyable shop. Not a regular visitor so buying the card to get a discount is slightly annoying from a hassle perspective. Good range of gear. Bought a cheap fly rod for the collection. No other fly tackle in the whole shop though!?
Buy the loyalty card before you go. £5 for the year and great savings. North Ridge, Rab, Montane, Berghaus. Clothes, bicycles, tents, fishing gear, camping gear and ski gear.
Didn't have a very wide selection of suba gear, which was a shame, all they had were wetsuits, I bought one but was also looking for fins, regulators, buoyancy vests etc..
I used to love shop for its quality stuff but lately diverted into peter storm store, overloaded and cheap stuff slowly becoming primark type.
So my situation I get a voucher in the post for 30% off go outdoors amazing I order something online to go pick it up in store to be told you need to bring the 30% voucher I've ordered this thing online to be dropped off at the store I wanted to pay for it online but you can't so this item I wanted it was £30 so now you want me to get in the car drive all the way home to pick the voucher up to come all the way back for something I can buy off Amazon delivered to my house I've already put the code in to get the 30% off online this is what it's saying it's coming up at I should the young last the phone she just carried on talking to her friend next to her look it's unfortunate you have to work at GO outdoors because you're at uni and I understand retail isn't a place for people who think they are better than everyone else but stop with the attitude staff at absolutely rude you need to get some people in there are who are passionate about the job because your staff at the moment arrogant and rude and think build or salmon living
Never realised GoOutdoors is dog friendly, my Labrador loved his outing today.
