Visited Black Goo in Tring with my kids during the half-term break and what a brilliant brunch spot this turned out to be! We didn’t have a booking, but the staff were so welcoming and managed to find us a spot straight away — super attentive from start to finish.nnWe ordered the Avo on Toast, Mac & Cheese, and Halloumi & Shrooms, and every dish was spot on — fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The freshly squeezed orange juice was exactly that — no cartons here, just pure, refreshing goodness.nnAnd let’s talk about the cakes — unbelievable! You’ve got to be quick because they run out fast, and it’s no surprise why. The selection changes daily, so there’s always something new to tempt you.nnA perfect place for families or anyone looking for a proper brunch experience that’s independent, full of charm, and full of flavour. A must-try if you’re in Tring!
This place has an amazing selection of cakes and pastries. The carrot cake and sausage roll we had were both top notch, as was their latte coffee. Nice decor and ambience and outside seating too.
Popped into Black Goo in Tring, had the hot chocolate and some French toast, both were amazing! The place has such a lovely, cosy feel and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier, a really nice spot to relax for a bit and enjoy great food. highly recommened
I took my other half here for her birthday on her recommendation. Was very pleased with the service and food and hope to return!nnI booked an afternoon tea here and everything is homemade. The amazing sandwiches, sausage rolls, scones, coffee and even the orange juice. It’s freshly squeezed behind the bar in a juicer!nnGood sized portions served here, had to take a few bits home. Absolutely mindblowing coffee. One of the best cups I’ve had and I don’t say that lightly. Had to have a few!nnService was impeccable. We were seated quickly, the food was all ready and prepared that morning and check backs were frequent for drink refills, packing to take food home etc.nnAll in all, a great place to have a coffee, cake and maybe even afternoon tea like us.
£4.20 for what's supposed to he a regular size coffee, which everywhere else would be classed as a small! Felt like gandalf in lord of the rings with the tiny hobbit cups..nCigarette packet for size comparison not my cigarettes!nWhat a rip off, won't be returning there
