So peaceful, lots of wildfowl and other wild life, great visitor centre, brilliant food at the Badger Cafe.

Did the full circuit of the lake. Plenty of hides to visit with information on which birds you may see. Cafe is ok but a little slow on service.

This is a nature reserve that used to be a chalk quarry. There are pleasant easy walks around the sight with lots of local plant, insect and birds to observe. There are observation huts for birdwatchers and a cafe and shop. It is free, but requests a donation for parking. This is a lovely way to spend a morning or afternoon.

A really great nature reserve. Very varied. Saw a dragonfly take a butterfly on the wing which was amazing.
