Great meal at the Black & Moor Inn today. Friendly and efficient staff, very accommodating considering we had our two puppies with us (very dog friendly). Food was excellent! Best burger I've had for a long time and my wife loved the chickpea curry. Will be back.

I have just stayed the weekend at the Black A Moor Inn. I received a very warm welcome from the family and was promptly shown to my room which was lovely with everything I needed and although facing the road there was very little traffic noise. The bar was welcoming and very well stocked. The lounge area was cosy with the logburner and very comfortable sofas. The restaurant was spacious and tastefully decorated and my evening meals were delicious with locally sourced produce when available. Breakfast was a meal to set you up for the day with a choice of cereals, fruit and a delicious fried breakfast and toast. The black pudding was the best I have ever had. The staff all looked after me very well as I was staying on my own and I cannot wait until I can return for another weekend. I would highly recommend a stay at the Blackamoor and you will not be disappointed. The price of my weekend was exceptionally good.

An absolute gem of a place. The staff are amazing and really friendly. The food is brilliant and the drink selection is great with some lovely local ales. We were in a motorhome and they let us stay in the car park which was lovely. A definite place to return to for food and location.

Fantastic food, immaculate surroundings. Presentation and quality sums it up, we'll be back. Nice account accommodation too.

Tasteful decor and beautifully maintained, great food, well presented at very reasonable prices.This would be a great place for a small wedding/or reception. Constructive criticism, may be worth adding a couple of slightly more up market options such as duck and dropping a couple of the pub grub dishes on the evening menu. No hesitation in giving 5 stars, very highly recommended
