Improved greatly over the years. Well laid out pub and restaurant. My own food wasn't great and took a very long time to arrive. Person I was with enjoyed their food more. Will give this place another try though as had heard good things about it.

A good selection of Gins. Staff friendly.you can usually find a seat. A good place for drinks before going to restaurant. I haven't eaten here for a while but the food is good

Fast and friendly service in a lovely setting. The menu offers an excellent choice of food. Sunday lunch was delicious! Looking forward to Thursday steak night.

We arrived for lunch and were warned of a 35 min wait. We were seated and looked at the menu. The decor was nice. The food seemed expensive for what was on the limited menu. We left and went to a bar down the road where we got better value and a delicious meal (3 courses for the price of 1 at the Royal Oak).

Lovely setting. Food was very good. Nice sized portions without being too full. Chocolate brownie was amazing. Only thing that let the visit down was having to wait a long time for the bill and make payment. Other then that very impressed and will be returning.
