Good connection the airport. If you live close to a train station I would always recommend this way of getting to the airport than the stress of driving and parking. Very helpful and useful.

This station is well placed to connect what it serves: The NEC, Birmingham International Airport and Trinity Park. I've always found the station well staffed and the new style help desk and vending machines are an improvement over using the old Ticket Office. It's a large station with 5 platforms, with adequate not outstanding facilities. At the platform level there's limited shelter and the concourse is like a barn. There's only one small lift and a narrow up-only escalator at each platform so passengers with large luggage are often left waiting for the lifts to return. It's not a bad station, but there's room for considerable improvement.

Easy to find where you want to get to - the signs are very clear. Staff are very helpful too, they know the timetable and will help you get on the right train.

Only 1 track leads to the second largest city in UK. Investments in infrastructure, what are them? Let's do HS2 instead! A single delayed train messes up all the rail traffic in one direction or another on this line. And the traffic directors are particularly good to mess up things even more when a delay happens. I commute on this line every day and I've seen everything

A modern bright station with good bus connections. The station services the NEC and Airport. There is staff on hand to help you. There is also a First Class Lounge.
