Ive been unfortunate enough to have to talk to child protection a few times. Theyve always been ABSOLUTELY LOVELY. I cannot say this about those that made allegations, but the social workers applied common sense and empathy. If youre not abusing your kids, these guys will be on your side all day.
I have been trying 4 months to get through to the children’s occupational team to chase up work which was left incomplete a year ago! Each call i am on hold for 45mins for it to be cut off. Absolute disgrace! The stress and anxiety this is causing has become unbearable now. The adult team have emailed them too but still no response
Social service are very one-sided, less help for you as a single mother, they very stereotype and racist, they need to understand when your from a different background country and you as the adult brought up with respect its very hard to let your kids grow up without manners and respect, without disciplining.
I reported my ex partner regarding the conditions of where my children live so they could live in a better environment. What a waste of time as the house was in such a state she had time to get it partly sorted as they gave her a time and date they were going round. They didn’t believe in what I had to say. I wouldn’t recommend using this service to anyone. No wonder people get through the net. Very rude people
You can't get through to these people in the first place! EDIT: Yeah they're useless, this is why children are dying
They put 17 year old children on the streets out of there care. Social workers are bullies. Management are even worse. They don't care about children.

Don't believe in them, be careful in what you say, if you are with your partner stay on the same page. We are working with them right now but I'm overly confused as to why, assessment officer had fabricated visits to the property and how they went. There promises don't mean nothing. Wish everyone the best.
It’s frightening that these people have so much power. Judging by my experience, the staff I have spoken to shouldn’t be anywhere near an organisation such as this. The most corrupt, lazy and spiteful people I have had the misfortune of encountering.
Back in 2007 the social services took my children because I had no where to live. I went on to have 5 social workers, the 1st social worker FORTUNE told lies and was removed from my case. The 2nd worker Beryl Brown was just awful, non supportive and she put my children into a carers care and that woman went on holiday to Jamaica and left my children with her teenage daughter. I eventually got my children back after 16 months. They Newtown social service even tried to get me sign over my children for Adoption . SOME of the workers at Newtown social services are THE most awful they lie and falsely documents to make THEIR case not to KEEP FAMILIES TOGETHER. SO MANY OF THEIR STAFF AND THE MANAGEMENT HAVE BEEN FIRED FOR FAILING CHILDREN IN BIRMINGHAM. GOOGLE IT. Fast forward my daughter graduated and my boys doing well at college. The social services owe me a letter of APOLOGIES!! WHERE IS IT?? I WAS TOLD I WAS SUPPOSED TO RECEIVE ONE.
