Independent bike shop, based in London bordering Epping Forest. Offering a wide selection of Road, Hybrids, Mountain bikes and everything in between. We also hire mountain bikes and road bikes.

Story

Biketrax is an independent bicycle shop conveniently located in Wanstead, East London – on the edge of Epping Forest and Essex. For over 15 years we have consistently serviced the roadie, mountain biker, commuter and general cycle enthusiast with all their two-wheeled needs.

You’ll find us open 7 days-a-week for sales, advice, hire, spares and repairs. Just pop in and we’ll be glad to help.

For FREE and easy parking customers are advised to park in Draycot Road from 10.30am, just a 2 min walk to the shop.

Very unhelpful staff! My wife and 5 year old son were stuck on Wanstead High Street with a punctured tire on our Riese & Muller Multitinker and they flat out refused to even look at the bike simply stating that they don't deal with Cargo bikes. I tried to reason with them that this has the shape of a normal bike rather than the large box at the front just somewhat longer but they remained indifferent. I wished they would have at least offered to look at the puncture to try and resolve it as they were just around the corner but instead my wife & son ended up having to walk the bike all the way to Leyton. It's the second time they have been unhelpful so we will not be going back. We highly recommend Bikeshack in Leyton instead as they're always helpful, no matter the issue and also more reasonably priced.
Whether you are buying a £3000 bike or just getting a puncture repaired, this shop is great, staff are incredibly knowledgeable and extremely helpful!
Fast, friendly and efficient service! The guys here are very knowledgeable and have a genuine care for bikes and what’s best for yours. I have a BMC Team Machine and it’s running incredibly smooth after my service. I will always support independent bike stores and with the excellent service here, I will continue to do so.

Keep the 'Local Bike Shop' alive!!! I've used BikeTrax several times over the course of the last year for some maintenance & upgrade work on my commuter bike and high- end carbon racing bikes. Great value, great advice.....and will be using them again in 2019 without doubt for some more tweaks and upgrades.
Honestly these guys are the best! After being forced off the road by a hot head, these guys trued my wheel for me even in this busy time. They saved my skin and I owe them all a drink once this is over. Friendly lads, keep pushing!
Brought my bike in 2 weeks ago to get my pedals removed as they were stuck and I didn't have a pedal wrench. I got charged £3 for a 1 minute job which I think wasn't appropriate as for the same service, my local bike shop at Paradise Cycles didn't charge a single penny.
