Totally different experience to the Chelmsley wood branch, which I gave a 2 star. This restaurant was clean, well maintained, staff cleaning the tables after people left. Quick accurate order taking and speedy correct service, great food at a great price. Would have given 5 but the drive through needs a better crossing to the entrance as a bit of a blind spot
If you go in with very high expectations then you may be disappointed. The service is quick and the store is clean, although can be busy. Good selection of items on the menu also. It is a good place to grab a quick bite. My donner burger was very tasty and the chips were perfect. The dips are a little pricey but you get a good quantity. Overall its a good meal for a relatively good price. Wouldn't mind visiting again.
Nothing special about this place, fancy looking but quality of the food very poor. Peri Peri chicken wasn't nice, lacking seasoning and defo didn't have peri flavour. Full chicken was of a size of a pigeon... Spicy chicken burger was very small - Chips were more filling than this burger... This is not the place I will be going back to
An over priced drive thru. Was once an affordable take away is now expensive. It’s convenient as a drive thru and food is decent. Just a shame about the pricing. £8 for. Basic burger meal £2.50 for 4 nuggets and chips £6 for 2 pieces of chicken and chips with a drink.
Southern fried chicken burger tasted like a cheap cut of meat, very odd overly peppery taste and the general taste of the meat was exactly the same as some other low quality budget places I have eaten at. Was edible and somewhat nice but would not order the burger again. The chips on the other hand, amazing. By far some of the best classic tasting chips I have ever had. The service was friendly, easy and fast and the forks with tissue inside a little packet are very handy. Sauces cost a bit but theres a decent selection so that's fine. Overall, okish food but exactly what it advertises. Just a glamourised local chippy so don't expect a ton, hence the 3 stars as the food is just not a wow factor.
It's good, just your usual Big John's, you know what you're getting. Service can sometimes be a bit slow, I waited 20 minutes for chicken wrap and chips the other week and there was another person in there who'd been waiting 15 minutes for chicken and chips, supposed it depends on the time of day though, there's adequate parking and if you're going through drive through then majority of time you'll be asked to park up once ordered and someone will bring the food to your car. The food is nice though.
My lettuce was warmer than the chips and Donner meat .but I must admit the meal was saved by the strawberry milkshake. Now. That was really nice.id have a milkshake again.
No Star if i could. Absolutely awful food and the price was just shocking. Our Masala fish and nan. Nan was cold and frozen. Not a fresh nan like you get at local fast food shops. Tiny nan and tiny fish. Fish was so small and thing i couldnt believe thats what they gave for a masala fish in nan. On top of that i had to wait in the carpark for my food. Just shocking!!
Was given incorrect meal but was too hungry to change it. Food was tasty strawberry cream shake was really good . Chips abit bland. Mushrooms good and crispy.Food: 4/5
Amazing! food was great, chips were fresh and very tasty did have to wait in car for a while while the food was being cooked but that let's you know how freshly made it was.
