Food was not great, everything was slapped together and burgers fell apart before we even put them in our mouths. We were charged £0.50 to £1.00 more than the advertised prices on the menu for each item, when brought up with the staff they offered nothing in return and explained they were simply the ‘old prices’ looking at other reviews, people have had the same happen to them, very concerning since i have contacted head office about the issue. Even before the price increase everything is completely over priced and not worth it. We were also denied tap water by the person behind the till. Two people sat next to us were asked to move so that two different people could sit there we had a joke with them about how ridiculous it was! and as my partner was going to the toilet after the meal, i was asked to leave so the table would be free… Overall, terrible experience, incredibly overpriced mediocre food with bad service, what more could you want! ONE STAR.
Lovely burgers, portion sizes although at first glance seem small, are filling. Milkshakes are out of this world. 5/5. Service could be slightly better but i am nit picking. Very busy outfit!
One of the best bacon cheeseburgers I have had in a very long time. Very good quality meat overall and the burgers are a very good size. The only slight negative with this Archie's is that the menu is very limited and does not have the full menu like you do in the Manchester branches. Also, there are limited seats so you often have to wait a while to be seated and served!
I was so excited to try this but the CUSTOMER SERVICE was the worst I have experienced. I waited over half an hour for two burgers whilst watching others who ordered after us receiving or taking away there orders so I asked the waitress about my food and she was so confused, I asked for a refund and she came back with a attitude and just my burgers saying they were just there so I wonder for how long the burgers were just sitting on the side.. as she walked of she went to speak to her colleagues who were all looking over. We received one fries in which we shared and then approximately 5mins later the other portion of fries came out which we didnt even finish. I asked for no mayo on the burger however it was still added. Literally was not worth it at all and deffo will not be going back.
mediocre overall. curly fries were really nice but its not difficult to make this. the burger bun was way too thin compared to the actual meat. too much sauce too. the drink was the most horrible drink i've had, it was flatter than an ironing board. i had to drink a glass of milk and use mouthwash to get rid of the taste in my poor mouth. the staff were friendly though.
Well overpriced for what it is. Small portions, buns are bad, just tasteless, milkshakes ok but small for a price and nothing special really. Conveniently located at the lower floor of Selfridges hence extra star and one for friendly staff. Not much seating spaces. Can't recommend I am afraid.
Having had Archie's in Manchester and not having any issues, it was shocking to see the difference in quality here. The burger was over cooked and the sauce wasn't evenly spread. And to top it off I didn't even receive a straw in my Uber eats order having pressed the request utensils options. I had to use a spoon to eat rather than drink the milkshake which was great however I wouldn't recommend. It's small issues which can be fixed I hope they are able to put straws into orders.
Crinkle chips where nice and the spicy burger was ok I've had better. It was overpriced for that size of a burger nachos were also ok nothing special.
Absolute joke this place is, the staff are useless. Ordered food from th kiosk as i thought it would be quicker, over £30 for 2 x burger and chips!!! to make matters worse i was left standing there for over 20 minutes for my food. There was a ques of customers also waiting to place orders yet the staff were to busy cahtting and lauging among themselves. Absolute shambles, the owners need to look at this or else it will end up damaging their business.
Great for the aesthetics but for the price point perhaps the food is a little overpriced. Fantastic if you want to visit for the instragram VERY pink vibe. The curly fries are nice and the burgers are ok. I would love to try one of the milkshakes perhaps it will make me enjoy it more.
