Arriving at the diner, I have to say the decor and seating arrangements were very inviting.  The menu looked very well done unlike other burger joints that use generic names and misrepresenting photos.  The first thing I noticed was the price. The price at the time was £5 for the burger, fries and a 500ml bottle of soft drink which was very fair price.  After ordering, it took no time for our food to arrive and it looked amazing. The fries caught my eye first as they were not generic frozen fries that every takeaway uses, they were in fact rustic looking with crispy outer shells and fluffly centres reminiscent of gourmet fries I had tried in London and tasted even better. The beef burger itself was very good and homemade. You could actually taste the beef and not unidentified processed meat like others do. The topping for the burger was very nice and complimented everything.  All in all, definitely a place to come back to.

Fries were okay but takes too long to order and get your food. 10 minutes just to get fries both times i went even though they tasted nice not worth waiting that long. Also fingerprint payment system seems dodgy and I wish I didn't use it they have your fingerprint on the system now.

Lovely place to dine, really quick service and food is always spot on. I'm at the uni nearby and this is the perfect place for a good lunch. It's a shame about the location as it is quite hidden and can be very easily missed, would definitely recommend this place. Oh and the prices are very reasonable!

Okay so you do have to wait a while for your order to be cooked but it is so worth the wait. The Burgers are cooked fresh as you wait and it shows in the taste as this is by far the best burger I have ever had. The staff are always pleasent and polite. I highly recommend.

This place is terrible, stinks of grilled food and the food is mega bland. If you dont believe me try it for yourself. I've had the cheeseburger and the peri peri burger both of which had zero taste to them. The chips were light in colour but many soaked in oil.  The fingerprint system when ordering guarantees you to pick up other peoples germs just before you tuck into your food.  The owners need to taste the food themselves and wonder where the flavour is.  AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!!!

Awesome little burger joint in the middle of Birmingham. Nice selection of burgers choices and the option of being able to build your burger exactly how you like as well as what sides you would like with your meal. Not alot of seating inside but the food is good considering the price. Can get very busy during the lunch period due to the college's/unis nearby.

Very very far from gourmet, "gourmet" should be removed and now it should be called Chicago Burger Company. Food has seen a steady decline. Consistency is something quite alien to this burger place. Initially the food was exemplary, more recently , the fries were greasy the burger bun crumbled as I was eating which suggests the bun was possibly past its sell by date. I mentioned this to staff and I was told it was due to the way it was warmed up inadequately. I wasn't offered a replacement. Overall it appears to be very much  hit and miss, if the food on the day is good then it's your lucky day , if not then don't say you weren't warned.

It’s closed. It still shows open on Google Maps but a visit the other day found it in darkness. Building is covered in Scaffolding. Shame that. Was all ready for a nice burger. No other info really. Hopefully it will re open in time.
