This salon is unpretentious and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. I had my hair cut by Lewis, who is excellent.

The hair cut itself was fine. The woman friendly and did as I asked. However, the hair washing situation was dire. It was not the hot/cold water situation (some problem with people upstairs using water!!) that was the worst but those awful chairs, I think they'd possibly only be comfortable for children and as I am more than slightly taller than a child I truly suffered , my back took 4 days to settle down. I know it wasn't just me as the lady next to me had to sit up in the middle of the wash to rub her back. The girl doing the hair washing apologised profusely and tried to make me comfortable with a cushion and desperately tried to adjust the water temp. She was most excellent at washing hair, I must add and the only thing that made the experience bearable. I won't be able to go back unfortunately until some money is spent on a water heater separately from the upstairs flats (or whatever plumbing solution is suitable - it's pretty appalling that a hair dresser can't wash hair in a suitable temperature) and the chairs be replaced with something an adult could find comfort in. For that I direct you to your Hersham branch whose chairs are perfectly comfortable for adults. I did like the products used which smelled nice. I don't know how to change my name on this but I am not a male.

A grade - Sharon particularly was excellent offered a drink immediately good hair cut - only £10 would recommend to anyone
