Great value hotel. Room is of a reasonable standard with a good shower. The breakfast is excellent. Self serve, good ingredients, lovely service and a wide range. Bar is decent although for a beer drinker there isn't really enough choice. But that always seems to be the way with hotel bars, doesn't it? Lovely staff too.

Very clean and tidy. Extremely friendly, professional and informative staff. Good location. Good quality iron.However, very dated decor and design. No plug socket next too bed. Very small TV. Old fashioned heating system (Radiator with TRV). Overall 3 stars is apt.

Excellent. Good rooms, excellent size and very clean and tidy. Bathroom was decent size and standard as well. Room was surprisingly quiet despite having to walk through the bar area to get to it and some events being on so pleasantly surprised. Was a way out of time but near motorway so can be a plus or minus depending on your view. It may not be the Ritz but was extremely comfortable stay, had very good facilities and excellent value for money with helpful friendly staff.

Suited our needs really well. Great location at a reasonable price for a couple of Aussie visitors. Clean and reasonably spacious for the UK. On a busy road but double glazing seems pretty standard here in the UK so the noise was minimal. Car parking was great which was unusual because it's been a premium everywhere else we have been. Would definitely book again.
