Love this place. My husband and I have been coming for at least 12 years and we always find Chris and the team to be so helpful and friendly. The park is lovely, showers and toilets are very nice and there is a small park for kiddies and a field for exercising dogs. The cream teas in the cafe are to die for! and the beach is only a 5 minute walk away. We will be back soon.
Wow, what a fantastic tea room! Excellent service, delicious food and all in a beautifully presented tea room. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, who were all very friendly and helpful. The cream tea itself was delicious! The homemade warm, heart shaped scones were lovely, and so was the cornish jam and cornish clotted cream. Inside, the tea room itself was a very pleasant and inviting place to sit. The seating was particularly comfortable and the tables were nicely dressed, each with a small vase of flowers and pretty table runner. We will definitely be returning here soon when family come to Cornwall for their summer holiday! We will be reserving a table in advance though, because this gem of a tea room will inevitably be very busy during the summer months! Thankyou Team Berryfields
Very good service & friendly staff. Very nice scones hot out of the oven so had to wait for them to cool a bit. Jam was homemade. Strawberry Cream Tea a bit over priced, especially with amount of cream & jam given. I think I'm just used to Devon portions . Also, a larger plate would have been better because the hot scones had made the jam very runny so it got a bit messy.
I had looked up best cream tea near me on Google and this place had popped up. It was the last day of our break so after a walk on the beach with the dogs we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately we made a BIG mistake, and ordered their ploughman's lunch before we had the cream tea.... The ploughman's was amazing, loads of local cheddar, salad, pickles, coleslaw, potato salad and pasta salad, as well as a nice warm, crispy baguette. Oops... Now too full to have the cream tea so we asked if they would do a take away... And they did! Two huge scones, homemade jam, clotted cream and what seemed like a punnet of strawberries were packed up for us to take away. Cannot recommend this place enough... Mum cooks and bakes, daughter manages the place and Dad was a great host. Tea Room itself is lovely, with an area for dogs too as well as a more formal non-dog area. Thank you
Perfect little gem of a place in Cornwall. Well worth the visit for the delicious cream tea. Perfect end to our stay in Cornwall.
One of the most pleasant owners of a campsite I've ever met. We had a last minute booking, upon turning up we were made to feel very welcome. Had a choice of pitches offered. We stayed near the onsite pitch and put. Toilet block was really clean and better than moat homes. Onsite cream teas are amazing, and well worth a visit just for them! There is a 5 a side pitch and croquet area to pass the time. Beach is a 10 minute walk accessed from across the field and access to the coastal path is through here too. Mobile data signal is poor in that area but if you're wanting to enjoy peace and quiet then that's an excuse to switch off your devices! Nearest store is in St Merryn premier and has great wine selections.
Top quality cream teas with affordable prices. Scones come in the shape of a heart. Each serving has a plain and fruit scone so do specify if you prefer plain ones. Strawberry shake is to die for. Adult and child breakfast portion is practically the same except for price difference. Staff are incredibly accommodating and hospitable.
Very clean. Good quality fresh food. Well presented. Good service. Polite and friendly staff. Loved the friendly banter with staff and customers. Not often I recommend somewhere to eat, but Berryfields Tearooms is a must visit venue. I will definitely go back for one of their cream teas.
Amazing cream teas and the other dishes on the menu are very good, wonderful campsite with clean facilities and helpful staff.
Excellent cream tea. Very friendly staff and dog friendly site. Definitely one to visit.
