The place itself Is lovely and in a good location on the way out of padstow. The food is well cooked and service is prompt. However, the menu is limited for vegetarians and those who have shellfish allergies, consult the menu on the website. Staff are friendly and keen to help but few lacked knowledge of the menu. Dogs are allowed which is a plus, but i would recommend leaving them at home to enjoy your meal fully. You may find yourself waiting for up to one and half hours for a table, we found this on 2 occasion during lunch and dinner service.

Lovely decor and cosy interior. Lovely views. Chips were a big disappointment though and food seemed pretty pricey for what it was. A small pet peeve of mine, with a restaurant that seems very child friendly is when the adult food comes out first. Staff were lovely. Fish curry was delicious.

Excellent service in a warm, lively and welcoming inn. However, although the food was satisfactory the menu was very limited- no pasta, rice, salads and only one vegetarian option. If you like chips. Which weren't that brilliant, you're good to go!

Lovely Cornish pub decent selection of beers and wines my only gripe would be that the food is good quality but never enough, so you have to order extras. Puts me off going regularly. Eg: I had plaice from the specials, I got a nice piece of fish and some lettuce - that was it! Had to order potatoes and brocoli as extras. If they improve the portion size it would easily be 5 stars

Excellent place to stay, very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much for Geoff and Karen. Great attention to detail regarding toiletries including dressing gowns and slippers. Rooms very clean and modern, food excellent. We were supplied with fresh milk for our room daily and offered dog basket and bowls. Later in the evening we were given a bowl of nuts etc for nibbles. Will definitely stay again. Thank you both for a great stay. Beryl and Dave Killeen.
