Welcome to Bernie's! Bridge of Weir's finest coffee shop, cafe & restaurant!
We believe we sell the best coffee for miles around and bake all of our critically acclaimed cakes in-house!

New to the area so thought we'd give Bernie's Cafe a try. Really enjoyed our breakfast, Eggs Benedict and the Pancake Stack were cooked well and really tasty. Coffee also delicious and really lovely service, we will be back.
A good wee cafe with a nice buzzy atmosphere, a good menue, comfortable seating. Most important really good coffee and hot milk. We were in on a Friday at lunchtime, it was busy with most tables taken, the service was a bit slow, but the food was good, well presented and tasty
Love Bernie's, only moved to Bridge of Weir recently and they never fail to fill a need. Some of the food is just good for filling you up, but the sandwiches and breakfast are amazing. A great spot for some lunch.
Amazing coffee!! Best Flat White I’ve had in Scotland. The food is delicious try a cake too. The staff are friendly and helpful. You won’t be disappointed.
The egg Benedict was not good at all. I could not even finish it and it costed £5.95. The coffee however was excellent. The only place I know which servers KIMBO coffee in Scotland so far, but I am sure there would be more places.
Passing through Bridge of Weir, I fell apon this great little cafe. Service was really friendly and welcoming. The coffee was perfect not to biter, a really nice deep roast coffee, well made and full.of flavour. A breakfast roll and sausage came out of the kitchen. Again perfect and importantly freshly cooked. This cafe was so good that after business was finished late in the day. I returned. This time some carrot cake. Now, Here is were real service stands out. I came in at about 4:40. Ordered and sat down. I noticed they were clearing up. So asking when did they close. "5 tonight. But don't worry plenty of time yet, no need to rush" was the reply. Out came a freshly brewed coffee, along with a fresh bit of cake. "There you are sir take your time and enjoy" now that is what I call service. If your in the area drop in and enjoy.
I go to Bernies every couple of weeks or so with a cycling club good place to stop and the cakes are amazing! We sometimes go out our way to stop here opposed to anywhere else as the staff are great and there is a good sized outdoor seating area.

Went for the Bernie's Big Burger which was delicious followed by a Malteser cake, I would honestly say I haven't tasted better! Nice relaxed atmosphere, great staff, five stars easy.
Food was not hot just warm so was cold half way through eating itmean8ng I couldn't finish it, toast came " buttered" with margarine which I hate it didn't even melt into toast as it was cold also. staff were run off their feet as there were only two of them dealing with seating , taking orders, serving food , clearing up and also payments then they had take away orders and ice-cream , milkshake cakes etc. Staff were very pleasant and apologetic for our wait to pay our bill which took around 10 minutes luckily we were in no rush. I think table service needs a dedicated staff member or 2 when it's busy. Surroundings where lovely very welcoming only exception of course we got the wobbly table that spilt your tea if leaned on it. Typical village prices not cheap but food looks good and is well presented. Will we go back? I'm on the fence perhaps we just visited on an off day we will see!
