My favourite Indian restaurant in Glasgow and Renfrew. The best and most caring staff. They actually make sure that you are comfortable. Amazingly talented chefs being from India i can tell they serve the most authentic food. The staff went extra mile to provide additional heater for my wife as she was feeling cold. Excellent food and excellent staff.

I just want to share my experience of ordering for collection at this restaurant. I placed an order at 6pm tonight and was told it would be 1hr. I asked the member of staff to verify this and she said it would definitely be ready for 7pm. I arrived at the restaurant for 7.05. Order wasn’t ready so I waited.................and waited.............and waited...........waited. After a 45 minute wait I asked and they said it would be 2 mins..........waited again..............and waited.........and waited. I didn’t get my order until 8.05. This is the 2nd time it’s happened. When I complained all I was told was “ other people are in the same boat” my reply “ I don’t care about anyone else”. The staff were so rude and couldn’t care less. I will not be back in Green Gates restaurant again and certainly will not be ordering a collection. They should think about getting more staff if they that busy and staff who are not so ignorant.

Consistently excellent. Always get a little pre starter dish brought out as a taster which is a nice touch. Tikka chasni is sooo good spicy, sweet, sour creamy goodness with tender grilled chicken. Presentation of dishes is great with goblets and cool water jugs. Service always 10/10 too.

Good service, good food, reasonably priced. Great location near Ferry Village and Renfrew town
