Disgusting food. The waitresses were foreign & amazing, they worked so hard & always smiled but the examples in the kitchen let everyone down. I asked for the mushroom starters.. For £5:95 I got a casserole dish with seven, yes seven tiny button mushrooms (you can buy a punnet of over twenty button mushrooms from Asda for £1) with a teaspoon of melted cheese & half a teaspoon of crushed garlic..the bottom of the bowl/dish wasn’t even half covered! I understand the mark up ratios, the premises, staff & bills have to be paid etc For nearly six pounds, this minicute serving of a starter left me feeling robbed & humiliated. I gave totally lost confidence in F&Bs. I even contacted them first (twice!) before I reviewed on here not a dicky bird back from them so I’ve no choice but to share my experience on here. I hope I’ve prevented others’ potential disappointment with this honest review.

Very disappointing. Opted for the southern fried chicken starter. It came within 30 seconds of ordering. Must have been pre-cooked, hate to imagine when!! Had the fish & chips. Must be the smallest piece of fish I have ever been served.....anywhere!! About 20 French fries. The garden peas were scattered about the plate it was so empty. Tartare sauce was good. Server was very friendly. £40 VERY EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT WE HAD. Think I will give this place a swerve next time.

Was there last night I had a calzon the centre was ok but a lot of base and not a lot of filling. My kids had the Mac and cheese it was over cooked and tasteless . My other half had the meatballs and there where greasy and a lot of water at the bottom of the bowl. The only good thing about it was the chicken wings for £50 was not impressed at all will not be going back

Not great got a american hot pizza they should just of called it a pepperoni. We also got carbonara and it was very dry.

Walked in at 7:30 and waited at the desk to be served, three members of staff walked past and the only thing said was excuse me by a waiter with a tray of drinks. A blond woman in a coloured shirt and glasses who I assume was running the place looked at us and started lifting napkins off of tables and generally trying to look busy while avoiding any more eye contact. We stood for a few more minutes and when we realised they didnt want any more business we left and had a first class dinner in TGI Friday. I’m very once bitten and that’s the last time I step into a Frankie and Bennies. They need our money I’m in no hurry to beg them to take it.
