From my experience the Doctors here are great. However the strategy to deal with incoming calls, and specifically setting appointment clearly needs some thought and change. I tried to make an appointment (before lunch) and the phone was ringing for 20 mins with no answer. When i re-tried i was met with a voice mail that said the team were in training, but would be available at 13:45. So i called back at 13:45 and kept hitting redial until the hold message was switched off(c.13:47) Therefore you could assume that after this time the staff are available, HOWEVER, I have now been ringing the Appointment line for 21 mins and still no answer. To check, i borrowed a colleagues phone and called the main switch board number and opted for the 'Home Visit' option, and was waiting on there for a further 11 mins. The system is broken, and needs repairing.

We can all have a dig at the NHS but when you come across great doctors at the coal face of the organisation, like Dr Kerry and Dr Pattison, it reminds you that real human beings are holding things together under great pressure and with great care. My recent experience of these doctors and the surgery as a whole has being exceptional.

This has been my GP surgery ever since I was born. I can understand why people may be complaining that they have to wait so long on hold over the phone, but I'm sure it would be the same at many other surgeries. I will honestly say the service and help when there is the main thing and has been excellent for me for 27 years.

Would be a better investment to have a caring person by yr new check in system for the older and poorly people coming to see there doctor rather than an abrupt impatient person pointing over her important desk ..confusing things Rating for doctors 5 stars

I am still waiting a letter from my Gp for 10 days. Calling to get in touch with secretary, call back in 10min, call from 2pm, call tomorrow.. The line is busy. Not professional at all. I am really în pain, have to see a specialist. I am thinking to change my Gp. And by the way, last time I was trying for 2 days to make an appointment, waiting around 20..30min On hold
