A very peaceful place and very reasonable price electric hook up of £20 for camping. There is a small lake just by campsite with small carps and fishing costs £5 day ticket which you can buy on line, dawn to dusk only. Please be aware there is other lakes which Lyme Anglers owned and for full licence only.
Our hardstanding pitch was muddy and uneven, and upon arrival the pitch numbers had been covered up. This lead to us being asked to move from what we assumed was our pitch after we’d already set up and settled. The area was relatively quiet and the toilet facilities were better than expected but overall it felt disorganised compared to other parks.
Lovely spacious, clean site with great facilities. Spent the hottest weekend of the year hear, set the swimming pool up for the kids and adults... Nice short stroll to the local pub. Great place to visit, will surely be returning again.
What a beautiful location to have a few days break which my partner and I have just had....The site toilets and showers are cleaned at intervals throughout the day ....they're immaculate Will definitely be returning
Brilliant campsite, so relaxing to stay on. Toilets and site itself spotless and only a quid a day to store a caravan. Definitely would come back.
Lovely location and setting. Shower block and toilet facilities are good and clean. Love the little touch with the books. The only reason for the 4 star and not five is due to the pitches being quite uneven and the overflowing bins. In saying this it has not put us off from coming back and is a little hidden gem if you want peace and quiet and a love for fishing.
Great site all services .big pitches with tap.super peaceful and great views of hills and small lakeLocation: 5/5
Very peaceful, ideal if you want to just chill. Toilets spotless and always available. Pitches level and good value for money. Kind of out of the way so if you want to explore probably need a car. Pub is walkable, but we didnt go. Would go back, and explore a bit next time...
Nice well kept camp site, shower and toilet as you would hope to expect. Disappointing that we could not fish any of the lakes club members only but there are plenty of fisheries in the area.
Stayed overnite, Sat Nav took us to the entrance that would not allow caravans. The other entrance on Pole Lane very badly sign posted, nightmare to get out of on a busy 50 mph road on a blind bend. Facilities basic but very clean and tidy. Only stayed one night but never saw any staff. Lovely setting with woodland and lake really quite. Pity about the entrance/ exit and signage.
