Just had a really great meal here with the family. Booked online the day prior for 9 ppl, called in advance on the day to increase it to 10 & they didn't have the booking, however they were great & accommodated us all. Brilliant staff *esp Natalia & service, from the booking & during the meal! First time here & all 10 of us left full & happy! Wheelchair accessible, tolerant staff - we're a lot on our own & have kids with SEND. Even converted my elderly parents who were not enthusiastic about the chain ... they were very happy with the staff & service which means the world to me! Highly recommended by all of us & at this point in the pandemic... an absolute well done!!

Good meal for 8 of us. Tasty, hot lasagne, macaroni cheese, etc. I didn't think the Marco Polo pulled duck in Hoisin sauce needed tomatoes? Friendly waiter, Jethro! We visited Bella Italia after being rudely turned away from F&B, one of the other restaurants at the Barbican Leisure Park. The difference was night and day, we were immediately welcomed by a polite and friendly manageress called Mel who promptly seated us and took our drinks order. It was a lovely touch that she took the time to ask us how our day was going and what we had planned for the rest of the afternoon. The food was excellent, everything served was cooked perfectly and was piping hot! Overall Bella Italia had a lovely atmosphere and great food! Keep up all the great work! We'll definitely be coming back soon to try the Marco Polo!
Nice friendly Italy restaurant. We booked in advance and were served very promptly which was good. The food was nice and reasonably sized portions. My bolognese was a little bland and my partner's lasagne's pasta was slightly under, but I would certainly eat here again.
Used to love Bella Italia, but very disappointing visit yesterday. I appreciate we were a large group, but it was over an hour before we got starters. Service was extremely slow and there was no communication or acknowledgement from staff, despite the restaurant being quiet. Portion sizes were about half what they used to be, for twice the prize. I got about 5 small meatballs in my starter costing over £7! Food was tasty enough, but I just couldn't believe how expensive it has gotten, for so little. It's a real shame and I suspect it is due to rising costs, but we won't be going back due to such poor value for money.
Didn't get off to a great start as there was 8 of us and staff wanted me to order on App, I wanted to get served by a person! Had great time in the end. Tasty food, staff were very good, all had a lovely time. Thank you.
I took my wife and 2 young children for a late lunch 1400 and when we arrived we were told there was no pizza on, surprising as they only really serve pizza and pasta. We decided to eat any way as it was getting on, and decided on pasta dishes! After 15 min wait the waitress came to take our order and informed us there was no pasta sauce, absolutely obsurd that a pizza and pasta restaurant hasn't got pizza or pasta sauce. What a waste of my time and my childrens patience. We obviously left as we didn't fancy dry pasta!!
I was just so impressed with the range of gluten free options available. The chef even adapted a meal so that I could eat it. There were a number of options not available, which other members of the group chose, but the manager explained that this was due to delivery challengesFood: 5/5
Lovely service and a very funny waitress. Fair play to her as taking orders for 5 children was only what I could say as doomed from the beginning. "It's an Italian kids, stop asking for the American Fast Foods" HaHa. Thank you for your help and service. Kid-friendliness: Many children inside and no issues for them being themselves for 5 mins. Really a weight off our shoulders lol Parking: Huge
