A great place in a lively part of town. Offering a great selection of food, generous portions and all perfectly cooked. We had squid and parfait to start, squid was delicious and tender. We were lucky to have the Chateaubriand, there was just one available worth calling ahead Definitely recommend booking ahead.
Had been before, enjoyed, come back again and enjoyed. Very reasonable menu, reasonably priced, well prepared and presented. Not mind blowing, but bank busting either. Pleasant ambiance and friendly service. Enjoyed the evening, would recommend and will be back.
Food was very tasty however prices were on the high side. There was a good range of dishes on the menu, however service was a little slow and the waitress wasn’t the most welcoming. Probably would visit again but for the food only. It is however in a pretty location and decor is nice.
Great food and the truffle mayo and parmesan fries were the best ever!! Staff friendly and professional. Only down side was the mashed potato hubby had, was on the cold side of aired - admittedly they replaced it straight away with an individual bowl of the same, unfortunately this too was aired at best. That being said hubby was happy with rest of the meal, with the steak cooked perfectly.
Not a cheap place by a long shot. But you get what you pay for, we'll worth it. Food was amazing. Service spot on. Would definitely go again for next special occasion. Parking: Good local parking, meter or app Wheelchair accessibility: They have lift to restaurant.
The food and service here is always excellent. I love that you can get such highly quality, tasty, refined food without the pretentiousness that often comes with it! The staff as always friendly and engaging, nothing ever seems to be too much trouble. I was especially delighted by the rhubarb cheesecake on this visit! My only improvement suggestion would be to have kids specific desserts on the kids menu
Sharing some photos of a memorable meal at the Barbican Kitchen. There was a relaxed informal atmosphere, excellent food and friendly, efficient service. I was pleased to see that the menu has a varied list of vegan choices as well as vegetarian and meat-containing options. Good to see that there is a set menu as well as à la carte options.
Had a wonderful birthday meal food was superb. The staff were helpful and friendly and we were able to enjoy our meal and not feel rushed. Lovely to be back as last time was literally the weekend before lockdown. Glad standards have been kept and the food is just as delicious as when we were there beforeFood: 5/5
The Barbican Kitchen is always a delightful dining experience and we enjoy our evening every time we visit. The confit duck was delicious and the apple crumble cheesecake was truly wonderful and I can't recommend it enough. The staff are always amazingly attentive, helpful and polite and the service is just seamless.Food: 5/5
Absolutely beautiful! We spent a very relaxing and wonderful dinner with a friendly staff and delicious food. Even out little boy was excited with everything and enjoyed very much all the ordered food. Highly recommend and definitely we will come back!
