Story

Beefeater opened their doors back in 1974, and were driven by a passion for glorious steak. Mouth-watering cuts at mouth-watering prices was their motto. Reassuringly nothing's changed, these things still drive them today and they always will.
Beefeater believe in two things, a warm friendly welcome and serving incredible steak that you can kick back, relax and enjoy. A very large Beefeater restaurant. The usual excellent menu choices. Well trained and helpful staff on hand when you need them. It was very busy the night we went there and so rather than wait half an hour we chose to eat in the bar; identical food with the same attentive service. Would recommend this restaurant. One helpful hint would be to get a voucher from one of the many websites that offer them, otherwise can be a bit pricey.

Wasn't loud, seats were comfy, service was attentive and speedy, food was good. The only negative was the guy on the greeting desk who was unengaged and leaden - apparently he was the shift manager. But it did not detract too badly from the rest of the staff.

Free parking. Is attached to a hotel and nearby is a small convenience store, a Subway, Costs (drive-thru). It's just off the M4 junction 16, so part of West Swindon & can be a handy location to meet people traveling in from the M4 or South of Wiltshire. Being a Beefeater, it's about what you'd expect, decent pub grub with plenty of choice at reasonable pricing. Plenty of seating and some confusion spots (like booths). They have highchairs if needed, although obviously have a limited amount & this place can be quiet busy with family's on certain days for some reason. Breakfast deal is pretty good usually & quality decent too. The several times I've been here over the years the staff have been consistent, friendly & helpful etc. There's a bar area also, toilets etc.

After reading terrible reviews online about this branch, we were nervous to try it, however we decided to go for it and see for ourselves. Wow we were not disappointed at all! We weren't the easiest group to please with a large amount of us and several requiring different dietary changes to the menu for allergy / intolerance reasons. Staff were happy to help and actively investigated ingredients used in different dishes and helped us to find that perfect something. We all had a brilliant evening and service was first class. Food was absolutely to die for and we will certainly be returning again!

Food is ok .Not better and not worse than in many other pubs. But for the price I'd expect something more nice and better presented. What did make our first and last visit worse that stuff was not friendly absolutely. Our waiter were looking like she hate her job and all the visitors all together. Since that visit always prefer to go to other pubs.
