Bedford street Bar

Lovely inside bar, friendly staff. 3 bars in total, two inside (one normal, one tiki) and one tiki bar outside. Loads of space to sit outside in the sun (if you come from the bar most of it is hidden, but it's just round the corner). A good selection of drinks: beers, ciders, spirits and soft drinks. Really nice in the summer!

Usually has a couple of real ales available and some good wines too. Great garden area for sitting outside in the summer, though surrounding buildings restrict the view. Music can be too loud at times if you want to have a conversation without shouting!

Great for live music. Attractive decor. Expect to pay high city centre prices for drinks.

A must to visit. Went early doors and then last stop before heading home. Lively atmosphere. Good music. Friendly staff with great customer service. All down to the manager who never stopped watching and was 'involved' in a low key way. I'll definitely go again.

Nice in summer sitting in the outside area. Food is on a par with what you'd expect in a bar in Leamington. Unnecessarily loud inside, slightly on the expensive side. Service isn't quick. Had a couple of issues with the staff. Including one not offering 2 for 1 cocktails when they are on and then being rather rude and dismissive to my friend when she pointed out it was supposed to be 2 for 1. He told her she had to be very clear that she wanted two and not one before ordering. I said that's not clear because if I order two drinks and it's buy one get one free, I could end up with four drinks and a doubled bill. It's the bar staffs responsibility to ensure the order is correct if there is any potential ambiguity. Got the distinct impression he was intentionally skimping on us because he thought he could get away with it. Not impressed. Serve 2 for 1 or don't. But if you're going to offer it, honour it. This attitude by the staff generally extends beyond drink service in my experience. Not worth kicking up a fuss and boycotting the place, also not worth going there if there are other options, which there are plenty of. For example Lief do excellent 2 for 1 cocktails. Good beer. Quick service. Reasonably priced. No confusion. Good live music at a reasonable level. Friendly staff. Open early to through to late.
