Have been going to Beauty Box in Clifton for over a year now. Have always had a professional yet friendly service. I would highly recommend this branch.

I first had shellac done here on Thursday 3rd August. It took 30 minutes. By the following Tuesday, 2 nails had already chipped, so they fixed them for free. The woman who fixed them was much better than the first woman. She didn't leave gaps around the edges, and was a perfectionist. A little over a week after first getting them done, I find the clear shellac underneath the colour on the original nails is pulling away and pulling the colour with it. It was catching on anything and everything, making a fairly disappointing survival rate for shellac! I rang the salon, who gave me an email address for the owner. The owner then must have contacted the salon, who rang me back and said they were going to completely redo my nails for free. The woman who corrected them the first time redid them, and they are so much better. She spent more time on making them perfect, and didn't seem to be rushing like the first woman. 4 stars for fantastic service dealing with a complaint and the second woman (I think her name is Shanice) being brilliant at her job. I think the problem with this place is your service depends on the beautician you have and I wonder about the quality of their products.

The lashes are poor quality, thick and fall off within days. The manager was rude and unapologetic when I had sent her a picture of one eye having so many gaps where lashes had fallen out.  I merely was offered a small discount for my next service. Overall the lashes were embarrassing to wear and I had to go elsewhere and pay for them to be removed.
