Story

The BSAH is everything you would expect from a leading veterinary hospital.

Having opened as the Royal Veterinary College's small animal teaching hospital in Camden in 1932, the hospital was the first of its kind, offering facilities and medical care previously not available for pets.

As a fully equipped RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons) accredited hospital, we offer a full range of services for your dog, cat, rabbit, reptile or other small animals from preventative health care to life saving operations.

Been trying to get into this SUPER 'local to me' vet clinic for a few years now; happy to have heard they were accepting new patients! Records were transferred from my previous vet quickly and the first visit was quick, painless and NO pressure. I'm used to push push push for tests, samples, x-rays special food etc. for any little thing you mention or question. None of that. I'm super happy and so was Kiwi!
The staff here are wonderful and welcoming. I have received excellent care for my dogs, with vets going the extra mile to walk me through my old dog's diabetes diagnosis and treatment. My new dog even *likes* to go to the vet there! Prices are fair and reasonable, too. I would recommend this clinic to anyone. :
I've been taking my pets to Fairmont Animal Hospital for over 6 yrs. Although there has been turnover of the vets at the clinic I have always received prompt responses to any questions or concerns for any issues with my fur babies. You can tell every team member there from reception to vet techs and the vets themselves love the animals and what they do. I unfortunately had to put 2 very old fur babies down and the compassion and care they showed myself and my pet was very touching. Would highly recommend
Recently switched vets to Fairmont and it was probably the best decision I have made. We have 2 pups, and one is very reactive, and our first visit was incredible. The staff is amazing and very kind and understanding of our situation with our reactive dog. They were able to get all vaccines done without a hitch and even got a nail trim in. Our other dog also enjoyed himself and the staff very much. The clinic is also very clean, and spacious, which is great for our dogs. I really felt like our old vet gave up on us and I lost total confidence in vets in general and the staff at Fairmont welcomed us with open arms and a new outlook for our pups and their interactions at vets! I'm very impressed to say the least. Thank you Fairmont staff!
We've been bringing our 2 medium dogs here for a couple years now. I think there was maybe a staff shortage for a bit, but we had a new vet last time we went and she was awesome! All the staff members seem to love animals, are easygoing and understanding, and very friendly. We are really happy with the service :
Dr. Jack, Carly and the whole team have been wonderful and took our cat in when our regular vet was on vacation. So grateful for their kindness and for making time to see us.
My pups both love all the staff at Fairmont! They are always so happy to see them and so helpful! My oldest pup has been epileptic for most of his life and the staff have made it as easy on us as possible I couldn’t ask for a better team of great workers to take care of my fur babies!
Been going to Fairmont Animal Hospital for close to 20 years now and they have always taken very good care of my fur babies. Very compassionate when it’s time to make that difficult decision. They are like a second family to all of us. The whole team have been wonderful over the years.
I was caring for a pet belonging to a sick family member and needed help and advice on updating vaccines that were out of date. Even though Daisy was not a patient they handled her right away with patience and loving care. Great Staff, Great Vet, Great facility.
This was not what I expected, they took their time with Riley and let him come out at his own pace. They gave him a tube treat. They were so patient and gentle with him, he didn't even know he was getting a needle. The Vet Dr. Fernanda Sanchez was so great with him, I'm glad I choose to take my cat there.
