Great place for a pint or 3. Popped in before our air bnb was open and made some lovely friends and had a great time.
We love the Bear. Always an easy natural welcome. Some lovely beers and a woodburner to thaw out cold feet and hands. My kind of pub.
Proper pub friendly staff
Great food friendly staff good place to drink and stay
First time here in 20 years. I know pubs are dying and despite really nice service you could feel this place dying too. The big screen that dominates the small pub is possibly necessary to drag people in but makes the whole place feel very dispiriting.
A very small, old-school pub. It's Free house so nice ales. Definitely frequented by older clientele.
