Excellent service and outside seating. Table service was attentive. The huts are great to stay out of the rain if needed. Wonderful drink selection, especially the cocktails. An easy 5 star from me!

Located in the centre of picturesque Salisbury, The Old Ale and Coffee House has a great location near the cathedral. There is a decent selection of craft beer and many, many gins. Our server came across as a little offhand. Prices both for food and drink are on the high side.
Expensive pub, a large wine and pint of Timothy Taylor just under £16. Table service only which I found odd, most pubs are now back to normal now. There are more pubs in Salisbury to explore this one was too like a corporate chains idea of an old pub and it wasnt for me.
The food here is wonderful, and the decor and the atmosphere also fits wonderfully with it. However, as this place is dog friendly, if you are not used to dogs the noise can be quite irritating, but the place itself is great-this would be more to do with the owners of the dog rather than the pub.
Nice area outside to drink or eat just don’t have the steak. Cost £18.5 but tough as old boots
