I love your Sunday Roast Dinners! I order most Sundays from Just Eat. No Chicken on the menu past couple of weeks though. Please put Chicken or even Turkey back on the menu, I don't like red meat! Thanks :
I stayed over night at the Bay Horse. My room was beautiful, immaculate and very spacious. There were extra supplies of tea coffee and milk out on a table on the landing which was a nice touch. The staff were helpful polite and chatty. Plenty to eat at breakfast. The full English was piping hot. Highly recommended.
We loved this place. Yes it was a quiet Monday night we had fantastic food the staff were great. Chef made me a great veggie soup. We had the three course menu. Recommended.
Absolutely beautiful room, full of character. Very friendly staff and considering the breakfast was free, it was fantastic! Cooked to each person's preference. We dont eat meat so the chef more than made up for gaps on our plates. Would highly recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay :

At last!! The Boro Parmo has been brought to York. If you have had a Parmo from all the take aways in York that sell them, then you have been robbed. The Bay Horse is the only Parmo venue worth using. Thanks to this young lass from North Ormesby you can now all taste a piece of Teesside. Up the Boro and Up the Parmo.

Sticky floor, sticky tables, limited food choice, supposed to be a gastropub pub but looking at the menu I don't see how they can claim that. The dining area reminded me of 1970's cafes
If you want a really good lunch in York, go here. Warm and friendly, excellent food. The homemade fishfinger Ciabatta and Grilled Halloumi are just delicious. Fresh, cooked beautifully and thoroughly enjoyable.
